Yuletide Solstice

December I will leave you still flush from April and July, a fresh scar
 unveiled,
 an amniotic window
 tender not porous.
 taught,
 fragile,
 necrotic,
 with a promise;
 pink formations,
 freshly sewn carapaces, prickly seeds,
 cloud laden skies.
