to fill my life
writing my pain into joy
acknowledging and embracing the darkness
that leads to finding and basking in the light
taking a break from goals
leaning into
learning how to
be
not be good
not be impressive
not be accomplished
just be
leaning into the stillness
once terrifying
now a refuge
a place to release the pain in my chest
a place to close my eyes to the blinding screens of output
and open them to dreams
awaiting fulfillment
